Now professor emeritus, Jack Crittenden taught political theory at Arizona State University for nearly 30 years. His teaching and research focus was on democratic theory, democratic education, and citizen deliberation. Over his academic career, he was the recipient of fellowships from the Spencer Foundation, the National Endowment for the Humanities, the Integral Institute, and the Interactivity Foundation, as well as the recipient of six awards for outstanding teaching. Currently, he is on the Board of Directors of Integral Life and is the President of the Windbridge Research Center.
