Justice by Commercial Algorithm, Not Just a Thought Experiment

Today’s NYTimes included a story about a Wisconsin man challenging his sentence because it was based in significant part on a proprietary computer program, an algorithm, used by the Wisconsin courts. http://nyti.ms/28MR24E
