How do we think better together? How do creative, culturally responsive, and critically informed discussions help us build stronger communities? How might collaborative discussion skills help us in our careers and improve workplace dynamics? How can we discuss better together to solve sticky problems?
Join the Collaborative Discussion Project (CDP) and the University of Delaware’s Biden School’s Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) Ithaca Initiative for this Difficult Discussions Workshop from 10 am to 12 pm (eastern) on October 3, 2024 at the University of Delaware (Graham Hall, Room 185) to unpack the challenges associated with negotiating difficult discussions in the classroom and beyond. This hands-on workshop explores ways of incorporating collaborative activities from the Collaborative Discussion Toolkit into your classroom or campus events.
The Interactivity Foundation’s President, Dr. Shannon Wheatley Hartman, will be on campus to facilitate this interactive workshop. Unite with us in strengthening democracy through discussion.
This workshop is open to educators. Space is limited and registration is required. Please email Jane Case at [email protected] with questions.
