Members of our training team will be leading an IF Collaborative Discussion Coach Training as part of the National Communication Association’s 110th Annual Convention, which is taking place in New Orleans this year. This training will be offered as a preconference session from 8 am to 5 pm (eastern) on November 20, 2024.
The members of our training team are:
- Lori Britt, Professor & Director of the School of Communication Studies and the Co-Director of the Institute for Constructive Advocacy & Dialogue (ICAD) at James Madison University
- Kara Dillard, Interim Executive Director of the Madison Center for Civic Engagement, Assistant Professor of the School of Communication Studies, and Co-Director of the Institute for Constructive Advocacy and Dialogue
- Sovi Herring, Graduate Research & Teaching Assistant and PhD Student in Rhetoric at Duquesne University
- Kirsten Isgro, Associate Professor and Department Chair of the Department of Communication Studies at SUNY Plattsburgh
