Inclusive Dialogue IF CDP Facilitation Certificate Program

Register for the Coalition for Inclusive Dialogue in Haiti’s inaugural Inclusive Dialogue Interactivity Foundation (IF) Facilitation Certificate Program. This inaugural program is limited to 15 university and college students currently living in Haiti. The Inclusive Dialogue Certificate Program creates opportunities for university students to learn more about the Coalition’s Inclusive Dialogue Framework, practice collaborative discussion & facilitation skills, and promote inclusive dialogue in Haiti. After completing this program, participants in this program will be able to host and facilitate Lakou (Local, Authentic, Knowledgeable, Open, and Unconditional) Conversations in their own communities. Students who successfully complete the program will be awarded certificates in facilitation and digital badges from the Coalition for Inclusive Dialogue in Haiti and the Interactivity Foundation.

By the end of the Inclusive Dialogue IF Facilitation Certificate Program, you will have…

• Familiarity with the Coalition for Inclusive Dialogue in Haiti and the Interactivity Foundation
• Deeper understanding of the Inclusive Dialogue Framework, its different components, its values, and its principles
• Learned how to listen to understand, anticipate group conflicts, ask questions to promote curiosity, seek divergent thinking, and practice deliberation with others
• Familiarity with the Interactivity Foundation’s Collaborative Discussion Toolkit
• Practiced how to host and facilitate Lakou Conversations in your own communities
• Financial support to host and facilitate inclusive dialogue forums in your own communities
• Invitation to events, workshops, webinars, and opportunities to collaborate with the Coalition for Inclusive Dialogue in Haiti
• Opportunity to be part of a growing community of educators, dialogue practitioners, and civic professionals

When: 11 am – 2 pm (eastern) on September 14, September 21, September 28, October 5, October 12, October 19, October 26, and November 9.

Who should register? Any undergraduate or graduate students living in Haiti passionate about inclusive dialogue, interested in learning how to facilitate and host such dialogues, and earning an Inclusive Dialogue and Interactivity Foundation (IF) Certificate in Facilitation.

How much does it cost? FREE. Thanks to the generous support of the Interactivity Foundation (IF), we are able to offer a stipend to help university students host Lakou Conversations in their own communities.
