Duh–Scientific Pride & Prejudice

February 10, 2014

This opinion piece, Scientific Pride and Prejudice, in the New York Times struck me as a worthy argument, but also an old and now largely obvious one. Who doesn’t know by now that science is an imperfect process, highly affected by scientists’ “prejudgments.”  Duh.  What’s still remarkable is that it also has a built-in and self-critical review process–albeit a slow and also imperfect process.
