America Talks and the National Week of Conversation

Conversations are a great way to connect with others. We hope you’ll build some connections by joining in conversations taking place during America Talks (June 12-13) and the National Week of Conversation (June 14-20). When you sign up for America Talks, you’ll be paired with someone for a one-on-one, face-to-face video conversation that can help span our divides. The Interactivity Foundation has been happy to partner with a coalition of nonpartisan, bridge-building organizations in supporting America Talks.

The 4th annual National Week of Conversation invites Americans to practice “Courage over Contempt” by joining each other in generous conversations that embrace our differences. You can see the range of conversation events hosted by more than 100 partners from the #ListenFirst Coalition and sign up for one at Citizen Connect

We hope you’ll consider signing up for the Interactivity Foundation’s conversation event exploring our different visions of what it could mean to be a full participant in a self-governing society: The Heart of Democratic Citizenship? (June 17, 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm EDT). You can also register here.

What do you think it means to be a democratic citizen? What do you think it could or should mean? What’s your most robust vision for democratic citizenship? Join us to explore these questions and more in a facilitated, collaborative conversation. We focus on having conversations that are generous, bold, and fun.

Take a step toward healing our divisions and transforming conflict into connection.
